Our first crop is garlic! Get some garlic and support education of Oxford Kids!
We own and operate a school called Altabright Academy. We have kids from the 6th to 12th grade. Each student can focus His or Her education on things they are interested in.
If they happen to be interested in botany or farming, we are providing them a way to learn what it takes to apply those fields of learning with real world experiences. They can learn everything from planting, fertilizing and harvesting, then all the way to the business side of the operation with accounting, financial planning and forecasting.
Last Fall we started our organic garlic crop! We planted the garlic in a fresh new field that has never been farmed before. Our garlic is a great ingredient in cooking. It can be used to add flavor to a wide variety of dishes, from soups and stews to sauces and marinades. Garlic can also be roasted or sautéed to create a delicious and healthy side dish.
Each purchase of garlic goes not only to help the students learn and understand all the aspects of farming and the botany of it all, but also as they work with the farming products they can earn scalorships to pay for their education. They can earn up to a full year’s worth of tuition.
